В исследование были включены 4 группы по 5 здоровых кроликов-самцов породы шиншилла. Первой группе животных давали субстанцию Мексидола, второй - таблетки №1 Мексидола, третьей - таблетки №1 после предварительного их измельчения, четвертой - таблетки №2 Мексидола. Полученные результаты позволяют сделать заключение, что изменение состава и технологии таблеток Мексидола привело к значительному повышению биологической доступности препарата, то есть повышению скорости и степени поступления Мексидола в системный кровоток и рекомендовать их для дальнейшего изучения в условиях клиники. На основании фармакокинетических исследований и биодоступности различных таблетированных форм Мексидола в эксперименте было отобрана оптимальная лекарственная форма препарата, рекомендованная для клинических исследований.
