My Idol James Eugene Carrey. He was born January 17, 1962 year in Newmarket, Canada. His parents were Kathleen Kerry (née Oram), singer [2] and later, homemaker, and Percy Carrey, a self-taught saxophonist and accountant. Jim has older sisters Pat and Rita, and the elder brother of John. Jim grew up in a Catholic family. His ancestors were Irish, Scottish, French, and was originally his surname sounded like Karrè [2]. When Jim turned 14 years old, his family moved to Scarborough (Ontario), where Jim within two years of the Blessed Trinity School in North York. The following year he studied at the Aginkortskom Institute, and then briefly attended Norsv′û high school (in General, Jim spent three years in grade 10).Early careerEven in childhood, a favorite hobby of Jim was posing. Even then he delighted classmates, relatives, parodied Brezhnev and Jack Nicholson. In 11 years, Kerry sent 80 skits on the show, Carol Barnett, but received no reply. In 15 years, Percy Carrey led Jim to Yak-Yak Comedy Club in Toronto. His first appearance proved a failure, he was booed and had not acted within two years.Only in 1979 year Jim ventured to speak again. This time it was waiting for success. He began performing at the Club under Manager Litrajsa Spivak, and in February 1981, became a major star of the Club. One of the critics of the newspaper "the Toronto Star" called Kerry "a real star in the light." Kerry created her stage image based on the image of his idol Jerry Lewis [5].In the early 80 's, Jim moved to Los Angeles and started performing at the comedy store.
