30 мая 2015 года состоялся восемнадцатый отборочный этап Международного Чемпионата KFC по мини-футболу. За путевку на Суперфинал сразились более 40 команд из Барнаула и Алтайского края. Победителем финального матча стала команда «RealБарнаул», одержав победу над командой «Легион» в послематчевой сериии пенальти со счетом 4:1. Третье место заняла команда «Звезда».

В новом сезоне Барнаул вошел в число городов-участников Международного Чемпионата KFCпо мини-футболу, собрав на стадионе СДЮШОР им. А. Смертина более 500 участников и 1 000 болельщиков.

«Нашу команду я начал собирать за два месяца до Чемпионата KFC. Мы тщательно готовились к турниру: выбирали расстановку, разбивались по четверкам, тренировались. Многие в нашей команде друг друга не знали. Подготовка, а дальше и игра, помогла нам сплотиться в одно целое. Команда настраивались на матч изо всех сил. Все очень волновались. В финальном матче мы повели 1:0, но вскоре соперник сравнял счет. Серия пенальти… Волнения было еще больше. Это был самый красивый финал. Наш вратарь спас ворота в этой серии пенальти 4 раза. Мы не верили, что победили. Эмоции просто зашкаливали. Спасибо KFC за организацию, а болельщикам – за поддержку. Мы вас не подведем в Москве!», — поделился своими впечатлениями капитан команды «RealБарнаул»
