Body Language
Arriving in a new country, we often say: "It is a pity
that I did not learn a few words before coming here!"
Or, perhaps, we think: "It is a pity that there is no common language
of communication. Now, if only all people could understand each
other! "
To some extent, such a universal language
of communication, code, body language is the language of non-verbal
communication. For example, if you kindly smile, people
probably consider you a friendly person, no matter what
country you are. If you frown, they
will think you are somewhat concerned. But experts believe
that a greater degree of body language due to cultural and other
gestures can be interpreted in different ways.
A good example is the welcome. If you
came to Denmark, and at a meeting with a familiar Dane
would have shaken his hand, he would be surprised. And if you
met with an Italian friend, it is a friendly
handshake would be more than appropriate. If you are in Paris,
met his French friends, then you would have kissed in
both cheeks! A woman in Jordan during a meeting with the men not
be the first to extend a hand to rukopozhatiya- is
considered immodest, but if a woman meets her friend,
they can exchange kisses ...
Of course, good to know the language in which we
arrived as guests, but it would also be useful to
