Высшее образование в Соединенных Штатах Америки имеет многоступенчатую структуру. После окончания двухгодичного колледжа выпускник получает степень Associate Degree, которая является низшей ступенью в американской табели о рангах высшего образования. В четырехлетнем колледже студенты получают полное высшее образование I ступени - Undergraduate Study с присвоением степени бакалавра.
