Я живу в стране с очень древней историей и уникальной природой. Здесь, среди гор и пустынь, жил и закалялся в испытаниях гордый и сильный народ. По территории Узбекистана веками проходил Великий Шелковый путь, связывавший два разных мира, две разных цивилизации. Конечно, я имею в виду Европу и Азию. Великим Шелковым путем путешествовали ткани, пряности, драгоценные камни. И, конечно, знания. Знания, открытия науки и техники передавались через огромные расстояния.

Когда-то древний узбекский город Самарканд был сожжен воинами Чинхисхана в ответ на сопротивление ему горожан. Но уже через два-три столетия город отстроился. Другой завоеватель, Тимур, назначил его своей столицей.

Не зря узбекский народ сформировался гостеприимным, приветливым. Здесь всегда принимали приезжих, каким бы ветром их не принесло. Множество людей разных национальностей переселились на узбекские земли во времена Советского Союза. Кто-то был вынужден перебраться сюда во время сталинских репрессий, кого-то выслали насильно. Множество русских и украинцев приехали в республику заниматься построением промышленности.
