Цель изучения: Преподавание и освоение религиоведения вносит свой вклад в гуманитаризацию образования, овладение достижениями мировой и отечественной культуры, свободное самоопределение студенческой молодежи в мировоззренческих позициях, духовных интересах и ценностях.

Краткое содержание основных разделов: В этом курсе не только раскрывается некоторые теоретические положения, но и дается информация о совокупности интересных фактов, без знания которых трудно понять многие события в прошлом и настоящем в экономической, политической истории, в истории науки, искусства, литературы, морали, в современной общественной - политической жизни.

Ожидаемые результаты: Осваивая эту дисциплину, студент приобретает навыки ведения мировоззренческого диалога, овладевает искусством понимания других людей, чей образ мысли является иным. Религиоведение способствует реализации свободы совести. Формируя понятие свободы совести, давая информацию о правовых нормах по этому вопросу, оно способствует становлению гражданских качеств личности студента. Дает ориентацию и в определенных социально-политических процессах, выявляя общее и особенное в политике различных партий и общественных движений в религиозном вопросе.
