2. В 1969 году — приказом Министерства гражданской авиации авиационные мастерские были переименованы в завод № 41 гражданской авиации. В конце 60-х годов — заводом освоен ремонт вертолетов Ми-8 (Т, П, ПС). В 1994 году освоен ремонт вертолетов Ми-8 МТВ-1. Всего за период с 1969 отремонтировано более 5000 вертолетов Ми-8 различных модификаций. Ми-8 на сегодняшний день является основным типом ВС, проходящим ремонт на заводе. Памятник данному вертолету установлен перед заводом. В феврале 2015 года «Омский Завод Гражданской Авиации» отметил 70-летие со дня организации.
