Еще один элемент «умного города», реализованный в Москве, – интеллектуальная транспортная система. По всему городу расположены 6,5 тыс. датчиков, которые измеряют плотность транспортного потока на различных участках улиц. Вся информация собирается в одном центре обработки данных, и в зависимости от ситуации принимаются решения по управлению светофорными объектами, по ограничению скорости на определенных участках дороги в определенное время суток и т.д. В долгосрочной перспективе на основании полученных данных будет планироваться более глубокая реорганизация движения.
