 Дом Севастьянова, Одно из самых вычурных сооружений Екатеринбурга, ставшее символом города. Рафинированная эклектика с элементами необарокко и готическо-мавританского стиля. Вообще говоря, здание построено ещё в нач. XIX в.(первое упоминание о нём в 1817 году) и уже тогда имело ротонду (которая даже использовалась для оркестровых концертов), однако свой приметный облик оно обрело в 1866 г. в результате реконструкции под началом архитектора А.И.Падучева, введшего моду на неоготику в городской застройке. Впоследствии к зданию было дополнительно пристроено крыло, выходящее окнами на проспект. Экскурсоводы называют его "Домом всех стилей", построенным на спор, хотя это уже преувеличение, тянущее на городскую легенду. В настоящее время дом Севастьянова - резиденция Президента России.
