В начале сказки гигант кажется злым. Но у его злости есть причины. Когда он приезжает домой, то видит, что в его саду играют незнакомые дети. Они даже не спросили разрешения поиграть в саду. Понятно, что великан разозлился. Он был так зол, что повесил табличку и поставил забор, чтобы никто не смог забраться в его сад. Этим он показал свою самовлюбленность. Ведь он мог договориться с детьми и разрешить им играть в его саду. Из-за его самовлюбленности в его сад не приходила весна. Гигант обрадовался, когда весна пришла. Это произошло потому что дети пробрались в его сад поиграть. И тут гигант понял каким злым и самовлюбленным он был. Он стал добрее и решил снести забор, чтобы впустить детей. Но все дети испугались и разбежались, увидев великана. Один мальчик не убежал. Гигант был очень добр к нему, ведь мальчик единственный не испугался и не убежал. Он очень полюбил этого ребёнка. Гигант стал намного добрее и был рад, когда дети приходили поиграть в его сад. Это только радовала его. Спустя много лет он смог снова увидеть своего друга и умер в саду под деревом от старости. Гигант умер счастливым и добрым
