Героиня фильма Роуз никак не может смириться с тем что ее единственая дочка умерает от болезни. Не слушая запреты мужа она берет дочку и везет ее к знахарью.
Но по дороге к целителю они попадаую в жуткий город Сайлент Хилл. Тут внезапно пропадает дочка во время ее поисков, мать начинает понимать что этот город непохож на другой. Его жители непонятные ужасные чудовища...
