Великий Гэтсби" - это история красивой, но несостоявшейся любви двух людей с совершенно разными позициями, интересами и жизненными ценностями. Никто не виноват, что деньги, не смотря на все их могущество и блеск, не могут дать тебе абсолютную власть над всеми и вся. Пример великого Гэтсби! Но при этом, они же и способны взрастить в человеке извечное гнилое равнодушие и трусость, перед всевозможными жизненными трудностями. Ярким примером этих пороков выступает Дейзи и ее тщеславный, но абсолютно никчемный муженек. Финал этой истории, на мой взгляд, не мог быть иным, как это не печально... Данный фильм в целом является одним из эталонов рэтровых постановок в мировом кинематографе, с яркими костюмами, послужившими огромным вдохновением для известнейших дизайнеров всего мира, стильной музыкой и ну просто завораживающими танцами 30-х!
