Всвязи с довольно быстрым развитием современной художественной прозы, использование и "внедрение" разговорной речи ярко выражено в произведениях современных авторов.
XXI век ознаменован не только переменами в социальной жизни, но и в литературе, которая почти полностью отходит от социалистического формата и приобретает новые черты. Теперь она отражает повседневную реальность. Описательная тенденция уступает место нарративной, что влечет за собой языковые перемены.
Меняются герои и сюжеты. Персонажи из героев в прямом смысле этого слова трансформируются в простых обывателей. Нельзя не согласиться с литературным критиком Г.Муриковым, который отмечает, что персонаж эпохи постмодерна становится «эмоционально возбужденным и склонным излишне чувствительно реагировать» (Литературная учеба, 2012, №1, 28). Это приводит к тому, что в повествование (особенно в диалоги персонажей) все больше проникает разговорная лексика, преобладают всевозможные бранные слова, сленг и даже инвективы.
