I. m. Sechenov (1829-1905) was an outstanding Russian scientist, the founder of Russian Physiology and scientific psychology. the range of his scientific works are very broad. Some of his research papers have been linked to the investigation of blood gases and their role in the process of respiration. Sechenov found that most gases are erythrocytes. He first is appreciated. based on their observations, I.m. Sechenov concluded that hemoglobin is the substance of blood, which completed the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide during respiration. Sechenov researched the process of absorption of CO2 solutions of salts. When he concluded his investigation, he proved that only 2/3 were dissolved CO2 (dissolved) in the plasma. the transfer of carbon dioxide from the blood into the lungs that obeys the law of diffusion of gases.
