Центр помпиду находится в Париже, Франция. Центр Жоржа Помпиду был открыт в 1977 году. Проект построен по новаторскому проекту Ренцо Пьяно и Ричарда Роджерса. Больше всего в этом центре меня поразил его дизайн: идея архитекторов была в расположении всех технический конструкция (которые включают в себя и арматурные соединения, и трубопроводы, лифты, эскалаторы) снаружи здания. Все трубы выкрашены различными цветами - синим, зеленым, желтым, красным. Что делает его одним из самых незабываемых достопримечательностей.

Сейчас центр включает в себя Парижский Музей современного искусства, который содержит произведения Пикассо, Малевича, Матисса. Так же большую библиотеку, выставочные и концертные залы.

Центр Помпиду является одним из самых посещаемых туристических объектов в Париже. Статистика показывает, что в год центр Помпиду посещает более 6 миллионов человек, в том числе 3,5 миллиона посетителей музея.
