Красноярский скульптор Виктор Мосиелев посвятил памятнику полгода. Джексон в бронзе весит около полутоны. К нему обратились представители фан-клуба на Урале с просьбой изготовить кумира.
В день открытия памятника, фанаты творчества музыканта исполняли некоторые его песни и зажигательные танцы, а так же возложили цветы в ногам умершего кумира. Теперь ежегодно 25 июня фанаты организуют праздник, и приглашают двойников Майкла Джексона для выступления.
