The removal of this option was way, way before the face-lift vehicle was released, in fact it was removed late summer 2004.

My advice to owners of pre face-lift 211's that still get their vehicles serviced with a main dealer is to make sure they let the service department know they do not want SBC Hold removed, and they will be most displeased if this happens.
