В 2009-2011 годах в рамках Программы жилье предоставлено 2567 семьям этнических иммигрантов. При этом внутренние мигранты мероприятиями Программы не охвачены.
Из 3223 квартир, построенных в рамках Программы, пустующими остаются 622 общей стоимостью свыше 2,6 млрд.тенге. В селе Красный Яр Акмолинской области с низким качеством построено 138 двухквартирных домов. Незаселенные 18 квартир стоимостью свыше 51,0 млн.тенге непригодны для проживания, требуют ремонтных работ. В Северо-Казахстанской области недостроенными остаются 10 одноквартирных домов стоимостью более 42,0 млн.тенге. Установлены факты использования построенного жилья не по назначению. Так, в Акмолинской области 34 квартиры стоимостью более 100,0 млн.тенге сданы в аренду физическим и юридическим лицам, в Мангистауской области построенное в рамках Программы жилье передано для административных нужд. Отсутствие единого типового проекта строительства жилья привело к его неравномерной стоимости по регионам. В результате превышения установленной стоимости 1 кв.м в Акмолинской и Мангистауской областях на строительство жилья в рамках реализации Программы дополнительно израсходованы средства республиканского бюджета в сумме 175,7 млн.тенге.
