Michael Faraday was born in London in 1791 to a poor family, and as a boy he did not learn much.

In 1804, when he was thirteen, he got a job in a book-seller's shop. He lived among books, and he (начал) to read some of them. The boy could not read every book in the shop because he was busy and did not have much time. So he began (выбирать) the books which he liked best.
