Цель работы – 1) изучение разнообразия гаплотипов по фрагменту гена cyt b мтДНК и локусов микросателлитов в группировках бычка-кругляка и бычка-песочника в Черноморско-Азовском бассейне Украины, 2) проведение дифференцировки популяций бычковых рыб в указанных регионах на основе проведенных исследований
