В перивентрикулярном белом веществе по контуру тела бокового желудочка (лучистый венец)
правого полушария с небольшим распространением в область базальных ядер определяется наличие неправильной формы патологического участка. Контуры относительно чёткие неровные, с выраженным перифокальным отёком. Структура неоднородная солидная с небольшим (до 8 мм) кистозным компонентом; сигнальные характеристики: слабогипоинтенсивные в Т1; изоинтенсивные в Т2 и FLAIR.
Размеры (по накоплению контраста): переднезадний - 37 мм, фронтальная ширина - 23 мм,
краниокаудальный - 24 мм. Максимальными размерами: 58*56*65 мм (переднезадний / ширина
краниокаудальный). Образование оказывает масс-эффект, оттесняет и сдавливает прилежащие
структуры. Срединные структуры головного мозга смещены влево до 5 мм.
