В статье предпринят анализ социальных стереотипов об экстремизме психосемантическими методами (микросемантический анализ и метод «множественной идентификации»). Мы полагаем, что для современного российского общества характерно неустойчивое состояние общественного сознания, обусловленного социальным напряжением, конкуренцией за право доминирования определенной идеи в сознании населения. Факторная структура стереотипов об экстремизме подчеркивает активность и наступательную силу экстремизма.
