Константин Эдуардович Циолковский родился в селе Ижевское, что находилось в Спасском районе Рязанской Губернии, в 1857 году 5 сентября. Он был великим советским ученым, исследователем и изобретателем в сфере ракето- и аэродинамики, а также главным основоположником современной космонавтики.

Как известно, Константин Эдуардович был ребенком в семье обычных лесничих, а в детстве вследствие заболевания скарлатиной практически полностью потерял слух. Данный факт стал причиной тому, что великий ученый не смог дальше учиться в средней школе, и ему пришлось перейти на самостоятельное обучение. В период своих юношеских годов Циолковский проживал в городе Москва, и там же изучал математические науки по программе высших школ. В 1879 году он благополучно сдал все экзамены, а на следующий год был назначен учителем геометрии и арифметики в Боровском училище, находящегося в Калужской губернии.
