Знаковая достопримечательность Лондона, без посещения которой невозможно представить себе визит в британскую столицу. Мост разводного типа через Темзу был сооружен в 1894 году восточнее Лондонского моста в связи с возросшей интенсивностью движения. Конструкция из металла с каменной облицовкой выполнена в виде собственно 244-метровой переправы с двумя опорами-башнями в готическом стиле. Проектировщиками предусмотрена возможность пересечения моста пешеходами по специальным галереям между башнями, расположенным на 44-метровой высоте, однако, сейчас они выполняют функцию музея и смотровой площадки
