Современные требования по повышению уровня форсирования быстроходных дизелей существенно обостряют проблемную задачу прогнозирования и обеспечения ресурсной прочности (РП) деталей камеры сгорания (КС) на стадии их проектирования. Решение указанной задачи на сегодня, в частности для поршней, невозможно без достижения предельных уровней их РП. На стадии проектирования на расчетную вели чина РП влияет достоверность использованной математической модели (ММ), конструкция детали, свойства материала, модель теоретической эксплуатации двигателя определенного назначения. Тогда при неизменной конструкции поршня и свойствах его материала расчетное значение РМ зависит от качества ММ и принятой модели эксплуатации.
