Инкассаторский фургон, перевозивший золотые слитки в окрестностях французского Лиона, был ограблен. Как передает агентство France Presse со ссылкой на источники в правоохранительных органах, злоумышленникам удалось похитить в общей сложности 70 кг драгоценного металла, что эквивалентно 2,5 млн евро, согласно текущим котировкам.
Инцидент произошел сегодня в первой половине дня близ Лиона на скоростном шоссе А6 — центральной магистрали, соединяющей Париж с югом Франции. Грабители поджидали фургон на одном из съездов с автотрассы близ поселка Дардийи в северных предместьях Лиона.
По имеющимся данным, грабителей было четверо. Они заблокировали инкассаторскую машину, извлекли из кузова все золото, а двух сопровождавших груз инкассаторов заперли в фургоне, который затем подожгли, и скрылись с места происшествия. Помимо фургона из-за пожара сгорели несколько соседних машин.
Запертых инкассаторов успели спасти подоспевшие на место событий жандармы. По данным агентства, никто в результате случившегося серьезно не пострадал. Самих грабителей усиленно разыскивают в окрестностях Лиона, расследование поручено Межрегиональному управлению судебной полиции.
