Мне кажется, что, по мнению автора, можно выделить две причины ухудшения экологии в современном мире: развитие человека с течением времени и переход от язычества к религии. Человек стал заниматься изучением мира, развитием различных технологий и т.д. Природа стала для человека вспомогательным средством, которое помогало в изучение окружающего мира. Человек перестал заботиться о земле, как о живом организме, применяя все природные ресурсы в собственных целях. В результате, все эти действия человека привели к ухудшению экологии, изменению климата, вымиранию животных и т.д.
