Был замечательный зимний день. Светило солнце, и сквозь облака виднелись островки голубого неба.
Дэн и Мартин решили покататься на коньках на озере недалеко от их дома. Мама Дэна не разрешала сыну одному кататься на коньках, а вдвоем это было вполне безопасно.
Оба друга хорошо катались на коньках и прекрасно проводили время на озере. Они катались уже около часа, и Мартин уехал вперед, как вдруг лёд хрустнул, и Дэн упал в воду.
Мартин попытался спасти друга самостоятельно. Он снял с шеи шарф и бросил его Дэну. Дэн схватился за шарф, и Мартин вытащил своего друга из воды.
К счастью, кто-то увидел, что произошло, и вызвал службу спасения. В тот момент, когда подъехала скорая помощь, мальчики уже выбрались на берег озера и стояли там, дрожа от холода. Спасатели укрыли мальчиков одеялами, чтобы они согрелись, и отправили их в больницу.
К счастью, все закончилось благополучно.
