ассоциация азиатских университетов основана на базе Алтайского государственного университета. в 2013 году. в состав ассоциации входит 30 университетов из 8 стран мира. Университет шанхайской организации сотрудничества это международная образовательная программа на территории азии. АГу имеет свыше 100 соглашений с 70 зарубежными вузами

Алтайский государственный университет — первый и единственный классический вуз Алтайского края. Он был основан в 1973 году и с тех пор является флагманом фундаментальной науки в нашем регионе.

Сегодня АлтГУ — это:

более 16 тысяч студентов, аспирантов и докторантов;
12 факультетов, Колледж АлтГУ;
5 филиалов на территории Алтайского края (Рубцовск, Славгород, Белокуриха, Бийск, Камень-на-Оби);
4 научно-исследовательских института;
18 центров переподготовки и повышения квалификации кадров;
собственный типографско-издательский комплекс;
одна из крупнейших вузовских библиотек Сибири;
Южно-Сибирский ботанический сад;
базы учебных практик «Озеро Красилово», «Чемал», «Голубой утес»;
обменные программы с ведущими зарубежными вузами и пр.
Обучение студентов осуществляется по 177 лицензированным программам высшего профессионального образования специалистов, бакалавров, магистров.

Полностью осуществлен переход к уровневой системе высшего профессионального образования.

Осуществляется подготовка по 28 программам среднего профессионального образования.
