Экономика как наука изучает все это и даже больше. Многие думают, что экономика – это совокупность решений, которые принимают чиновники и менеджеры компаний по управлению денежными средствами. На самом деле, экономика изучает почти все решения, которые мы принимаем каждый день. Проще говоря, экономика рассматривает то, как люди решают одну очень важную проблему: ресурсы на нашей планете ограничены, но наш спрос на них практически безграничен. В качестве ресурсов могут выступать материальные объекты, такие как еда, жилье и одежда. Но при этом существуют виды ресурсов, которые мы не можем потрогать. Время, пространство и удобство также являются ресурсами. Например, рассмотрим обычный день. В нем содержится 24 часа, и каждому из нас приходится выбирать способы потратить это время. Наша повседневная жизнь наполнена такими решениями. Каждое принятое нами решение – это своего рода компромисс. Если Вы тратите больше времени на работу, то получаете больше доходов. Но при этом у Вас остается меньше времени на отдых. Экономисты как раз и изучают вот такие компромиссы, на которые идут люди. Они изучают причины, по которым Вы принимаете то или иное решение. Затем они смотрят на последствия этих решений на Вашу жизнь и жизнь всего общества в целом.
