По теме кафедры ЮНЕСКО внедрена в учебный процесс технического института дисциплина«Здоровье человека на Севере, по выбору для всех специальностей и направлений методический комплекс и электронный подготовки. Составлены учебно- методический комплекс и электронный учебно-методический комплекс дисциплины, подобрана литература, разработаны лекции и практические занятия. Курс«Здоровье человека на Севере» призван ознакомить студентов с особенностями жизнедеятельности человека в специфических климатических и природных условиях высоких широт, принципами адаптации и сохранения здоровья в условиях Арктики. В целях сохранения самобытной культуры народов Севера в условиях глобализации, под руководством профессора жожикова А.В. реализуется проект Арктический многоязычный интернет-портал WWW.arctic megapedian, который в 2013 году вошел в число лучших интернет-проектов Дальнего Востока. Реализация данного проекта осуществляется в рамках Программы развития Северо-Восточного федерального университета имени MК Аммосова по мероприятию "сохранение и развитие языков и культур малочисленных коренных народов Севера на цифровых носителях и в киберпространстве на 2012-2014гr. На портале представлена исчерпывающая информация о языке и культуре народов Севера, создан архив полнотекстовых документов, аудио и видеоресурсов
