И действительно, вода – ценнейший ресурс на нашей планете. Не будет воды – не будет нас, человечества как вида, не будет ничего живого. Поэтому сегодня остро стоит вопрос о сохранении чистой воды как жизненного ресурса.
К сожалению, пока ещё нет производств, которые не загрязняли бы окружающую среду, в том числе и воду. Грунтовые воды после интенсивного использования удобрений, промышленные стоки нуждаются в очистке, а значит, в определении вида и уровня загрязнений. Предельно допустимые концентрации различных солей тяжелых металлов в воде колеблются от нескольких мг/л до тысячных долей мг/л.
Необходимо быстро определять уровень загрязнения окружающей среды, в том числе и воды.
Мы исследовали свойства акриловых полимеров, содержащих природные наполнители, и создали материал для интегрально-оптического сенсора, определяющего присутствие соединений металлов в жидких средах (в нашем случае - в промышленных и бытовых стоках и т.п.).
Применение акриловых полимеров в качестве химических сенсоров - возможность определить загрязнение жидкой среды металлами максимально быстро, проводя экспресс-анализ без предварительной подготовки пробы, а значит, экономия и времени, и денег.
