В совокупности это приводит к исчезновению с лица Земли целых экосистем и биологических видов, ухудшению здоровья населения и уменьшению продолжительности жизни людей.

Около 85 % всех заболеваний современного человека связано с неблагоприятными условиями окружающей среды, возникающими по его же вине.
