развитии умственных способностей и нацеливающие их на достижение
совершенства, созвучны нашей эпохе. Именно поэтому его наследие столь

Интерес к творческому наследию великого мыслителя Востока огромен
во всем мире. Показателен тот факт, что в 1975 г. в связи с его 1100-летним
юбилеем состоялись три международные научные конференции: в Москве -
«Аль-Фараби и мировая цивилизация», в Алма-Ате - «Аль-Фараби и развитие
науки и культуры стран Востока», в Багдаде - «Аль-Фараби и человеческая
цивилизация». На этих международных конференциях ярко выявилась глубокая
тенденция расширения научного и культурного сотрудничества различных
народов мира в деле усвоения всего прогрессивного и демократического,
созданного в духовной жизни прошлого.
В связи с 1100-летним юбилеем мыслителя в Казахстане началось
издание на русском языке сочинений аль-Фараби в виде тематических
сборников. К настоящему времени уже издано пять томов трактатов аль-
Фараби: «Философские трактаты», «Социально-этические трактаты»,
«Логические трактаты», «Математические трактаты», «Комментарий к
«Альмагесту» Птолемея»; первые два тома переведены на казахский язык.
Появление на русском и казахском языках сочинений аль-Фараби создает
важную теоретическую основу по воссозданию полного творческого облика
великого мыслителя.
1100-летний юбилей аль-Фараби составил важную веху в культурной
жизни нашей страны, способствуя росту интереса к истории мировой культуры.
