«Роснефть» купила 100% акций ТНК-BP. Сделка превратила госкомпанию в крупнейшую публичную нефтегазовую компанию мира, а ее президента Игоря Сечина – в нефтяного генерала. Сумма покупки – рекорд в российской корпоративной истории. ТНК-BP была оценена в $61 млрд. BP за свои 50% ТНК-BP получила $16,65 млрд и 12,84% акций «Роснефти». На часть вырученных от продажи денег ($4,87 млрд) BP купила у «Роснефтегаза» еще 5,66% акций «Роснефти».
