Дальневосточное высшее военное кома

Дальневосточное высшее военное командное училище имени Маршала Советского Союза Рокоссовского берёт свое начало от Владивостокского пехотного училища, созданного по приказу Народного Комиссара обороны СССР Маршала Советского Союза Ворошилова 11 февраля 1940 года.
Училище готовит высококвалифицированных офицеров для мотострелковых войск и частей морской пехоты.
Специализации:
• применение подразделений морской пехоты;
• применение мотострелковых подразделений с горной подготовкой;
• применение мотострелковых подразделений с арктической подготовкой.

Гордость училища – высококвалифицированный преподавательский состав, способный вести образовательный процесс и научные исследования на уровне современных требований. Более 60 % профессорско-преподавательского состава имеют учёные степени и звания.
Научные исследования в военном училище ведутся по четырём отраслям наук (военное, технические, педагогические, исторические). Основная часть научных исследований прикладного характера.
Училище обладает мощной, сложившейся годами материально – технической базой. Её основу составляют специализированные классы, учебные лаборатории, залы курсового проектирования, спортивный комплекс, классы, оснащённые средствами обучения новейших технологий, лабораторным оборудованием и установками. Курсанты обучаются на современной военной технике. В училище имеются учебно-производственные мастерские, необходимые для проведения учебно-производственной практики по специальности.
Полевая база вуза обеспечивает качественное обучение курсантов действиям на местности с вооружением и боевой техникой в условиях, максимально приближённым к боевым. На территории полигона расположены комплексы тактики и тактико-специальной подготовки, огневой подготовки и вождения.
С 1940 по 2014 год наш вуз произвел более 100 выпусков, подготовив более 26 тысяч высококвалифицированных офицеров, 36 из которых удостоены звания Героя Советского Союза и Героя Российской Федерации
