В рассказа говорится о Робинзоне Крузе,который жил в Нью-йорке и очень хотел пойти на море. И в один день он встретил мальчика,который предложил ему покатать его на корабле и он,конечно,согласился. Плавая они попали в ужасный шторм. Он все равно хотел быть капитаном. Он познакомился с одним капитаном,с которым поехал в путешествие в Африку. Но когда они вернулись в Англию,капитан умер, и Робинзону пришлось ехать в Африку без него.
Через два года он вернулся домой.
