Гендерные стереотипы - рецидив патриархального сознания, который культивируется в англоязычных СМИ, явление, искажающее массовое сознание и тормозящее развитие СМИ и общества в целом. Сегодня, когда мы вступили в 21 век, многовековые гендерные стереотипы устарели, но они еще очень живучи. Поэтому очень важно, чтобы средства массовой коммуникации не укрепляли эти стереотипы, а избавились от них.
