Характерно, что в русском языке есть лишь одно слово, обозначающее non-smoker («некурящий»), но два слова спротивоположным значением: «курящий» и «курильщик». Мой знакомый, судя по всему, уже не в состоянии броситькурить, и относится к разряду заядлых курильщиков, хотя и не относится к тем, кто прикуривает одну сигарету от другой
