Наверно, первым в перечне качеств для юриста идет усидчивость. Слишком много нужно копаться в документах, нормативных правовых актах. Пропустишь мелочь — это может обернуться роковой ошибкой. Зачастую приходиться все перепроверять по несколько раз. Одна какая-то отрасль права не может быть полностью отделена и независима от других. Составить хороший договор невозможно без знания налогового права. Понять, как функционирует какой-либо орган (административное право), сложно без знаний о том, как он финансируется (бюджетное право). Можно зациклиться на одной отрасли, не знать о коллизиях с другими отраслями. Все это может привести к ошибке. Усидчивость нужна и для того, чтобы анализировать судебную практику. Усидчивость на гране занудства.

Следующее качество — это аналитический склад ума. Без него не получится сделать правильные выводы, сопоставить правовые нормы. Для этого юристу (особенно адвокату) нужна еще и логика. Один мой знакомый, поразмыслив, добавил: «Твердая логика».

Юристу нужна еще и память хорошая. Наверно, как раз это качество хотят привить юридические факультеты, когда заставляют зазубривать законы вплоть до номеров статей…вместо того чтобы научить ориентироваться в них.

У юристов часто бывают напряженные моменты на работе, завалы, конфликты, публичные выступления и прочие стрессовые ситуации. Именно поэтому юрист должен уметь работать при стрессе так же эффективно, без ошибок и срывов.

Я назвала 4 качества, которые приходят первыми на ум. И они, пожалуй, бесспорные. Есть еще несколько свойств, которые, на мой взгляд должны присутствовать у юриста. Но по поводу этих свойств уже можно поспорить. Например, коммуникабельность. Отбросим то, что хорошо бы человеку любой профессии обладать этим качеством.
