С точки зрения положительных качеств психолого-педагогического воздействия ИКТ можно сказать, что ИКТ позволяет действительно усовершенствовать содержание образования за счёт использования каких-либо ресурсов. Здесь речь идёт больше не о Персональных Компьютерах (ПК), а о так называемом интерактивном компоненте. Сама возможность изменять содержание и форму подачи изучаемого материала (форма, цвет, звук) значительно изменяет наглядность обучения, что способствует запоминанию. При использовании интерактивных методов обучения активность ученика/студента значительно увеличивается и превышает активность учителя/преподавателя т.к. задачей последнего является не простой обучить ученика, но и научиться чему-то новому самому. Развиваются креативные способности, как у ученика/студента, так и у учителя/преподавателя. Сформировавшаяся ныне информационная культура открывает перед людьми новые возможности для самореализации. Процесс становится индивидуализированным, а следовательно эффективным, т.к. он направляется непосредственно на ученика/студента, а также повышает мотивацию, благодаря новым навыкам, таким как работа с ПК и другими устройствами, поиск информации в глобальных сетях и т. д.
