Where I live. As I said, i live about 40 km away from the university town (Bloomington), and close to the small (and very uninteresting) city of Clinton. it is about 6 km away, and I only go there when I need some basic groceries. once or twice a month, i go to Bloomington where they have better selection. But around here, there is not much to do, and no interesting people to socialize with. Therefor, the fantasy picture of one day, may be right, but after many many days, it could very well be that Tamara would miss being able to go to the beach, go to the city for a cup of coffee, or some pleasure shopping / window shopping, or just to se some faces of good friends. She would then probably go on the internet, on Skype to chat with friends and family from home, but after a while, there would be no internet, because, here in the country side, I can only get internet via satellite service, and it comes with a limited bandwith. when it is used up, there is no more the rest of the month, unless one buys more for a high price :( Only in the hours between 2:00 and 6:00 can one use unlimited bandwith. - It is very annoying, but unfortunately how it is. If one views too many video’s, the bandwith disappears very quickly :( :( Before the financial crisis of 2008, the art market (for glass art) was very lively, and a handful of artists (myself included) sold much work, and did very well. in 2008, all that changed, and for many years, I had no income at all, and vas living and working of my savings (luckily I was clever enough to put some money aside) All that has gone now, but i have begun to notice a new interest in my work, which i only hope will continue. There is some importance to why i am entering this subject. I have never been, and will never be a commercial artist, that means the i do not look to make what will sell, because, then it is the collector who decides what art is, and not the artist. Most glass collectors like to buy decorative work to make their homes pretty, and there are enough “artists” who are happy to supply them with decorative items, but I am not one of them. This, I think, is one big reason why I have not found a partner in all of these years, and have not established a family, because i needed to be free to do what I wanted to do, regardless of weather it would sell or not, and therefor I did not want to have responsibility for others than myself. - If my ship went down, I would go down with it, but I could not have done that, had I had responsibility for a family. I take chances with my art, and that I have to continue to do, otherwise i will not feel like a real artist, but merely a decorator. this is also why I cannot promise a potential partner, that financially, everything will be good all the time. It may, but then again, it may not. Remember that i told you for quite some time, that I was not sure if I was cut out to be with someone, this is part of my thoughts behind that statement. So, there you have it Tamara. I find that it is important that you know who I am, how i feel, and what can not be changed in me. Also of importance is where I live, as it is most certainly very different from your surroundings, and what you are used to and enjoy. A dream is nice, and big parts of it may be true, but one have to consider also the possible dark sides. We should however continue to know each other better, and only after a meeting, consider if we could be together. - Your decision as well as mine. The worst thing that could happen would be if either one of us after a while felt that we had made a mistake. These things, as you surely also know, are not something that one can just easily change. On a lighter note. I do not eat much vitamin pills :) One reason is, that no-one has yet absolutely proven the benefits, but many have proven problems with excessive consumption of vitamins. - I do my best to get my vitamins through healthy food :) I have however sometimes bought a supplement vitamin, but I forget to take them :) :) let me send you a picture of a normal meal for me :) At some point I would like to come and visit, but it will not be until this summer, while I am in Denmark, at some point I would be interested in hearing if i need to know anything special concerning travel to Lithuania? Safety, need of visa, etc. I hope that you will not see what I wrote above is to score you, ut i think it is important to be open and frank with each other. I am not like most people, and my values in life seem also to differ from most other people, and as such, it could prove difficult for you to establish a correct picture of me.
