Delicious modern Belarusian cuisine is a blend of three key factors: people's relationship with the land, the products of the local population and the influence of neighboring countries and migrant settlers. For these reasons, the food in Belarus is very similar to the traditional cuisine of Russia, Lithuania, Ukraine and Poland. The European Community also made a great contribution to modern kitchen Belarus. Belarusian cuisine dishes, as a rule, based on local vegetables and cereals.
