При этом можно выбрать несколько вариантов одного и того же предмета, например, Algebra I и Algebra II, различающиеся количеством учебных часов и сложностью материала.

В старшей средней школе обязательны, как правило, математика, английский, естественные и социальные науки, информатика. Чтобы поступить в вуз, нужно еще в обязательном порядке в течение двух лет заниматься иностранным языком.
