После окончания школы я не буду поступать в университет, а отправлюсь на языковые курсы в страну мое мечты – США. Так как для моей будущей профессии, требуется хорошее знание английского языка, я решила поехать обучаться в школу знаменитого, солнечного Лос-Анджелеса. Пробыла я там четыре недели. Я жила в приемной семье, мою приемную маму звали Бобби, а приемного отца Мэттью. В их семье я была единственным ребенком. Они жили недалеко от школы. Занятия начинались в 9 утра и заканчивались в три часа дня. В школу можно было ездить либо школьным автобусом, либо родители привозили тебя туда. Уроки длились по пятьдесят минут, после третьего урока была большая перемена, на которой мы отдыхали и ели ланч. Первые три дня мы не учились, у нас была экскурсия по достопримечательностям ЛА. Мы посетили Диснейленд, знаменитую "Аллею Славы", Обсерваторию Гриффита, Музей Искусства и Музей естественной истории округа. Больше всего мне, конечно же, понравилось в Диснейленде. На четвертый день моего отпуска в ЛА, я отправилась в школу, там мы написали тест, который определяет уровень знания языка, потом нас поделили на группы, в одной группе до 10 человек. В группе я познакомилась со многими ребятами с разных стран мира. На уроках мы разговаривали на разные темы, рассказывали о своей жизни и семье. Поначалу я стеснялась говорить на английском языке, но вскорем мне пришлось побороть языковый барьер, так как мне нужно было общаться. В моей группе было три человека с Китая, три с Англии, один с Австралии и два с Украины.
На второй неделе моего отпуска, мы выполняли проект, в котором рассказывали о своей будущей профессии. Я рассказывала о международном менеджменте, и почему я выбрала именно это направление.
У нас было много развлекательных программ, например, пикник, охота, верховая езда, теннис и бейсбол.
На четвертой неделе мы писали выпускные экзамены, после чего получили сертификат, который подтверждает обучение в ELC Los Angeles.
Последние четыре дня, я гуляла по городу с семьей и друзьями. Мы катались на скейте по знаменитой Венеции Лос-Анджелеса, посетили развлекательный комплекс LA Live, Музей мадам Тюссо, прошлись еще раз по Аллее Славы и посетили множество магазинов.
Летнее обучение в Америке мне очень понравилось. Я познакомилась с культурой и традицией этой страны, а также приобрела отличные навыки разговорной речи, которые помогут мне в будущем.
