Assistant Quantity Surveyor: An Assistant QS is required to support the QS team at one of London’s leading and most respected commercial refurbishment and fit-out specialists, which create amazing spaces for prestigious private and public sector clients across most sectors. Previous contracts have included the Imperial War Museum and St. Pancras international station.

The Assistant Surveyor will carry out the procurement of resources and to manage and report financial information throughout all contracts they are responsible for. The role will involve supporting the Senior Surveyor, Commercial Manager and or Chief Surveyor to ensure delivery of every project to the client’s total satisfaction. The position offers the potential for career progression. The ideal candidate will have completed their studies, ideally with a degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management, although candidates with an HNC/HND would also be considered.

Skills & Experience:
- IT Skills: Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Mathematical ability.
- Good business writing, including grammar and spelling.
- Ability to time-manage work-loads to achieve deadlines.
- Report writing.
- Contractual knowledge, including basic knowledge of standard industry main contracts and their sub-contract derivatives.
- Ability to interpret drawings.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work positively and productively under pressure.
- Good inter-personal communication skills, within office and with clients; diplomacy.
- Gain familiarity with the company production history and ethos.
