If you scrolled a lot in the messag

If you scrolled a lot in the messages list to see very old messages, sometimes we go back to the top of the messages list for no reason (there is no new emails) and we have to scroll (for a very long time...) again to see the messages we were viewing.

I guess this is the automatic refresh which generates this behavior, so if there is no new messages is it possible to not display the top of the messages list and stay in the current position of the list?
