Согласитесь, рассказ «Бура» удивительно пластично перекликается с произведениями анималистического жанра крупнейших писателей прошлого и современности: Л. Толстой «Холстомер», А. Чехов «Каштанка», Ч. Айтматов «Прощай, Гульсары!», С. Санбаев «Белая аруана», В. Курочкин «Урод» и др.
