В Польше есть уникальная раскрашенная деревня, которая называется Залипье. В ней все строения украшены традиционным цветочным орнаментом, даже курятники и собачьи конуры. Традиция нанесения рисунка родилась в конце 19 века. Изначально жители деревни украшали внутреннюю часть дома, позже, начали украшать и внешние элементы зданий, колодцев и заборов. В настоящее время в Залипье более 20 разрисованных домов и несколько десятков хозяйственных построек. Уникальность этого места состоит еще и в том, что это обычная польская деревня, а не музей. Люди так живут и поддерживают традицию. С недавнего времени основы рисунка ввели в качестве школьного предмета в учебном заведении. Кроме того, в Залипье работает «Дом художниц», где можно обучиться технике рисунка. Цветочный орнамент немного похож на Петриковскую роспись. Но нашему традиционному орнаменту повезло меньше чем польскому.
